The background texture is generated using samples of my bass, which are set to play according to various probabilities, making the background constantly changing. I designed it to be very relaxing and calming, so that it ebbs and flows naturally. I then played melodies over top of it, responding to the changing texture. Not knowing what note is coming next, this resulted in unexpected points of tension as well as miraculous cadences.

As part of this single, I am also providing the background texture on its own, with a few more sounds thrown in. It is about 30 minutes long, and is great for meditation, falling asleep, or relaxing.

To go with the theme of computer generation, the album art was generated by AI based off the title from the website wombo.art

This piece is dedicated to my Grandma Mary, who has left us recently.
